Lifesaver Project

After unwrapping all those IPOD minis and Xmas gifts, it's that time of the year to chuck old new year resolutions and make new ones as we celebrate the big twenty-oh-5.

Admist all the festivities, however, we are saddened by the turn of events caused by the Tsunami Killer Waves.

Singapore is shielded by her neighbours and while the destruction took many lives, we are unharmed by the wrath of the waves. Flesh Imp wish to send heartfelt condolences to the people and families involved in the disaster and in thier effort to help the victims.

Flesh Imp is launching a F.L.M.P FleshImp LifeSaver Movement Project in aid of raising funds for The Singapore Red Cross Society.

The Fund Raising will take place next Wed (Jan 5th) till Fri (Jan 7th) 2005 at the external stage of Heeren at the Marche entrance from 11am till 10 pm except on
Friday whereby it will end at 8pm.

Tee shirts in memory of the victims of this unfortunate natural disaster will be sold at $15.00 each, of which $10 from every sale of the tee shirt will be donated to the Red Cross Society of Singapore.

Special Edition Tee Shirts will also be sold at $50.00 each of which the full amount will be donated.

Fund raising is not about putting up the biggest TV show, or performing death defying stunts and it’s certainly not about shouting to everyone about achieving highest TV ratings.

The Flesh Imp LifeSaver Project is about keeping it real, giving straight from the heart, cherishing life and being in the skin of the victims’ family and friends, living out their constant anxiety. The FLMP fund raising effort spreads these charity values.

To allow youths of today, regardless of race or religion to come out and do their part for the society also brings out the compassion in them.

In aid of the fund raising, youths who have done their part in building and shaping the youth culture will be performing during the fund raising to raise awareness and appeal to the public.

Local acts and talents, including radio DJs as well as celebrities will also lend their hand in this effort and will be performing, in conjunction to the Fund Raising.
